When did this start?

So.  I am not someone who usually talks about believing in hidden messages, or that everything in life has some greater meaning.  But.  Then my brain decides to run away with me.  Especially with music.  Especially with dreams.  I talked about the last time a song was in my head every time that I woke up here.  Well - my mind must be working overtime now.

For the past two weeks or so, I have woken up with the same song in my head.  It doesn't matter what music I am listening to in the car, what television I watched before bed - nothing has made a difference.  I have woken up with "Insomnia" by Tyler Hilton in my head.

I'm thinking that it has something to do with the fact that I have been getting way less sleep than normal.  This is due to a variety of causes.  Work is crazy stressful - with way too much to do, I have had lots going on - from church services to concerts, to the fact that I simply can't seem to get comfortable at night.  Whatever the reason - I am not sleeping well and Tyler seems to be reminding me of it every morning.

Now I love Tyler Hilton's music.  I am counting down to seeing him again in concert this summer.  However, I would be more than happy to give this song up if it made me sleep better.

Until that time, I will be grateful that it is music that I enjoy.

Concert night...Part 3.

Last on the schedule was Tyler Hilton.  What can I say?  Lainie and I love to see him live.  It's a great show, a ton of fun, and we got to hear some new music.  I'll let the pics and videos speak for themselves, then I will share the rest of the night. :)

After the show, Lainie and I were chatting with a couple that we have become friends with, thanks to these concerts.  Then we decided to wait and try to get a pic with Tyler.  It worked. :)

Also, of note, I tweeted pictures during each performance.  A couple of days later, Tyler sent out my photo.  I am definitely a dork, as this really excited me.  But ya know what, I'm good with that.

I'm not sure what the official name of Tyler Hilton's new song will be, but I am going with "Little Bit of Trouble" and it is officially my song of the day.  After all, just a little bit of trouble looks good on most of us.  And I think we accomplished that this August.

Rockin' Concert....Part 3

So...next up in our night of rockin' music.  The last two acts were Tyler Hilton and Ryan Cabrera.

While we were waiting for Tyler Hilton to come on, we hung out, had a drink, and got to chat as friends.

So on to the show.  Tyler Hilton puts on an amazing concert.  Absolutely loved it.  I got some amazing pictures from it as well.  Just as Teddy Geiger did, Tyler Hilton brought parts of the other groups on stage as well. :)

After Tyler Hilton's set, next up was Ryan Cabrera.  Unfortunately, they ran into some soundcheck issues, so it took quite a length of time between sets.  Being that it was a Sunday night, we were exhausted by the time that Ryan took the stage.  We stayed for a while, but headed home before it was done.  I did get a couple of fun pics before we headed out.
